# BREAKFAST & WELCOME BRIEFING

Dear Customers, welcome to Croatia!

 

Tonight we have a free night, so please feel free to explore the local area! There are a couple of lovely restaurants open in Marina town, as well as Tommy and Studenac shops for provisioning. Only the [Studenac shop](https://maps.app.goo.gl/wTy1X5R3wRv3YKfk8) and [Stuff and Puff kiosk](https://maps.app.goo.gl/9bmZ2LQJsj9vJLrJ9) will be open on Sunday the 4th October. 

Tomorrow morning at 09:00, we will have a complimentary breakfast in La Barca.  Then, we will have our first morning briefing in the Moorings Lounge next to A dock at 9:45.

# MEETING WITH THE CREW

The official embarkation for your boat is 18:00. As our crews are still engaged with guests from last week and busy getting your boats ready, they will be available to meet with you from 4 pm in the Sunsail lounge, next to C dock. In case your vessel is ready before that time - don't worry, your hostess will inform you of it via the WhatsApp number you left at the reception. 

 

# IN THE MEANTIME

 Your holiday already started! Why don't you check out the nearby beach? Feel free to use our complimentary towels in the Sunsail lounge, or head into one of the restaurants in the Marina for some lunch or drinks. Visiting Trogir town is also a good idea, it is only a 20-minute car ride away!

We understand You have been informed about our route in advance, and that that is one of the reasons we have You as our Guests this week, however, we do always put the safety of all the customers and crew first, so we had to do some necessary changes. # PRVIĆ LUKA

Prvić Luka is an old Dalmatian village that developed around the island’s sheltered natural harbour, with stone houses and narrow lanes gathered right along the waterfront. It is best known for its connection to Renaissance inventor **Faust Vrančić**, who spent his childhood on Prvić and is buried here. Visit the small but fascinating Faust Vrančić Memorial Centre, wander the car-free village and waterfront, and enjoy one of the most peaceful corners of the Šibenik archipelago.

 

 

# MOORING FEES AND FACILITIES

Payable by Cash, we will be on mooring balls in front of the quay as it is getting renovated.  

 

There is no water nor electricity, but the town has an open restaurant, and a lovely walk to the next town over - Prvić Šepurine, as well as a little shop and a nice [Faust Vrančić museum](https://maps.app.goo.gl/v1D7kzbbJomvFvNr5) open in morning hours.

# THINGS TO DO

**Primošten** was originally built on a small island, where residents could better protect themselves from Ottoman attacks. A bridge once connected it to the mainland, and the town’s name comes from the Croatian word *primostiti*, meaning**“to bridge”**. The bridge was later replaced by a permanent causeway, creating the picturesque peninsula you see today. 

The old town is a lovely maze of stone houses and narrow lanes climbing towards the **Church of St. George**, which sits at the highest point with beautiful views across the Adriatic. Primošten is also famous for its traditional vineyards and **Babić wine**. For an even bigger view, head up to the **Our Lady of Loreto** monument on Gaj Hill, overlooking the town, coastline and Šibenik archipelago.

We are expecting strong winds, so be careful while going through the channel, it can get busy. Some currents are also possible the closer one gets to the bridge.

Free walking tour organised through local tour guides at 17.00. Meeting point on the N bridge of Trogir town (20min walking from the marina)

Known for its remarkably preserved **UNESCO-listed historic centre**, Trogir is filled with centuries-old Venetian architecture, charming courtyards and lively cafés and restaurants, making an evening stroll through the old town one of the highlights of a visit.

- You double checked you have left nothing behind
